Here I am again

Bersempena Royal Visit Prince William dan Kate Middleton ke Malaysia dan Sabah especially, saya persembahkan lagu...

This is my second post about them... Hehe

Tak nak cakap pasal mereka pun sebenarnya. Saja nak cakap rindu Sabah. especially Tambunan dan adik-adik di rumah anak yatim Tambunan. :') Tempatnya sejuk (lagi sejuk dari Cameron Highland) dan sangat peaceful. The last time I went to Sabah is when I was 12 years old. Waktu tu pun macam sedar tak sedar... Hahaha. Waktu kat Sabah you tend to speak like them. I have to admit susah juga la nak communicate tapi boleh juga la faham. Pegi waktu bulan puasa haritu for Sekolah@MMU Sabah II & Ihya' Ramadan. Terima kasih adik-adik kerana sudi beri kerjasama dengan abang-abang dan kakak-kakak. Penat kan puasa tapi masih semangat. Sayang adik-adik :) InsyaAllah nanti kakak visit Tambunan lagi.

Before I go to sleep

That is actually a title of a book. I haven't got the time to read it aaannnddd there's one that I 'currently' reading, haven't finish it yet (note that currently is past few months XP) Anyways, I don't want to talk about that right now. I'm actually in the middle of doing my tax assignment (pssst.. the due date is extended until after Raya. Yeay for now). This always happens regularly when you are doing your assignments or studying for your finals, there are always, suddenly, something to write about, words and ideas just flowing into your minds and your hands get really itchy; it wants to write BADLY. If doing my assignments makes me write blog posts, then I'm satisfied. Writing this blog is one of the things that makes me happy. So, bring in the assignments!!! KIDDING... I had enough to inspire me. :)

Move on to the main point that I actually want to deliver: I THINK flash mob is inspired by hindi movies. Why? You know it's like when suddenly everyone knows the exact same step for the choreography and knows the song; it's like so magical. The singing part in hindi movies somehow suggest that when you are happy then the world will be happy for you... No hasad dengki and whatnot... Hahaha... They wear colorful clothes and sing, dance for you, with you. And all of you spread the happiness to every part of the world. At one point sing and dance in India at other times in Switzerland, London, US.... yada yada. As for waktu sedih, the world seems to understand your sorrow. Imagine it happens in real life: you are happy that you finish your assignments, everyone around starts singing and dancing. That would be cool and weird no??? Hahaha. Ok apa lagi nak tulis...hmmm. Oh yea... Now dah masuk 10 last day of Ramadan. Sooo... mari manfaatkannya. Let's make these nights worth it :) InsyaAllah.

Kuey Teow stick together

Assalamualaikum and greetings everyone :)

So the title above is the name that I bestowed upon the food that I cooked today. Yes people, I, me do the cooking just now. As you guessed it, I cooked some kuey teow (actually 2 packets of it). It wasn't all great. Because it stuck together and somehow 'hancur'. It's not a very good thing to stir the kuey teow all the time and api tak boleh kuat sangat. Okay, my bad. I don't know. But now I know. And 'udang kering' isn't that great to put in there. Ke saya yang tak reti rasa..? I got a whole lot of good stuffs with me just now: udang and kerang. Sometime thing doesn't appear the way we want it to be. That is what I learn in cooking. My mom said that it taste good but it was sticky. Gee, thanks. "Cita-cita tu ada tapi tak jadi seperti apa yang digambarkan." That was the exact words she said. Hahaha... Been there, done that. Anyhow, it leads me to a new discovery. Next time I'll cook the kuey teow so good even your grandchildren can get the taste of it! Hah! (who am I against here?).  

I don't eat the kuey teow much. It was depressing because it didn't turn out the way I want it to be. And maybe because dah kenyang minum Milo ice blended. That is one thing I good at; making drinks :) Yeah, by the way, I was fasting today. So that's why I don't eat much....? Hahaha. Eh tapi betul. Mama cakap when you cook it takes sometime for you to feel hungry after you cook. Maybe sebab penat or kenyang bau asap kot. Hahahah. Kejap lagi kot makan balik. And maybe I am sad as well that's why I don't eat much. Me being typical me: always sad over a small thing. No worries my dear, we going to fix this kuey teow stick together. Turn it into something that does not stick and can be swallowed. LoL. Anyways, it is fun in the kitchen when you get to 'throw' all the bowls and plates into the sink. After you chop something and then you slide the chopping board and the knife into the sink. Such a nice feeling :) I don't have problem washing them all. Been doing that all my life. My sister will clean the table and I'll wash the dishes. And sing. One of the things that makes me happy... Hee XD. Other than that you also get the ransack the freezer/refrigerator (whichever) to find the ingredients that is needed. If its not the thing that you want you just throw it to the back. So fun XD. (do excuse my somewhere-wrecked-mind). But I must do that when my mom is not around. Hoho

So yeah people. That's all for today. Need to go now to reheat the kuey teow. Judge no.2 want to have a taste of it (abah). Toodles.

Ya saya ada masalah nak isi borang ni...

As you guys know, well some of you don't, SAYA TAK SUKA ISI BORANG MAKLUMAT. From any institute lah. Waktu sekolah dulu pun kena buat benda yang sama. Tiap-tiap tahun pun kena isi borang maklumat. Rasa mcm nak buat bungkus nasi lemak je borang tu kalau cikgu kasi. Haha:D Yang borang uitm ni dah la tempat nak tulis info dia kecil gila. Kan dah menjadi masalah kepada saya dan orang2 yang mempunyai tulisan yang BESAR. Sheesh=.= Lepas tu nak isi borang buat apa lagi. Kan haritu dah isi dah segala tok nenek waktu first2 mohon kat upu dulu. So apa yang mereka boleh buat ialah... pass je lah info tu dekat uitm. Am I right or am I right? Kan senang macam tu. Jimat tenaga dan sumber kertas: pokok.Nampaknya diorg ni masih separuh-celik IT. Macam saya juga. Ngahaha:D Macam tadi berapa banyak kali entah nak isi benda yang sama sebab asyik silap je. Rasa kena pakai kanta pembesar waktu isi borang tu. Hoho:D Anyways, apa nak buat..kena la isi jugak. Karang dia tak bagi masuk pulak lagi naya.. Sabar je la Farhana:))

Okaaayyyy... where do I start??? Hmmm... Ok saya tak dapat JPA kan.. It's okay. Serious saya tak kisah. I'm just happy. In fact this is the first time I feel genuinely happy for the past ermmm.... 2 months. Studying overseas is not part of my plan. Nope. Cuma when my sister dpt chance nak pergi oversea haritu then only macam terlintas on my mind 'eh why not.. tengok tempat orang'. So okay lepas keputusan SPM keluar, apply for jpa etcetc.. you know what happen la kan. To be honest... I was suck during the interview. What do you expect? A candidate next to me is an international public speaker(smthg like that) put yourself in my baju kurung.. rasa timid tak? My point is ramai lagi yang layak daripada saya as in no. of A+, economy background, privilage budak2 asrama(tu x yah cite la sakit hati kot, I mean I tak dpt pun pergi boarding school, takpe tu cerita lama) & macam-macam lagi la sebab yang tak melayakkan saya untuk mendapat tajaan tu<----- ayat hebat tak? haha:D So dah saya tak dapat ni a few people kinda mempersoalkan ketidakdapatan saya<---- lg satu, hebat tak? haha:D They've been asking question and melahirkan rasa kesian( 3rd one) like

'Kenapa tak dapat, u kan dpt straight A's etcetc....'

'Ala.. kenapa ya tak dapat..'

'Uitm je.. tapi result kamu kan hebat..'

'You deserve the scholarship...'

Well, saya takde jawapan kepada soalan kenapa tak dapat. Yang tu kena tanya org jpa sendiri. And please, please,please,please,please,please,please,please,please,please,please,please,please,please,please.. dah ada berapa dah..please don't feel sorry for me. Please BE HAPPY for me. It's okay uitm je, it's okay local je, because I know this is what's best for me. Allah knows what's best for me. So yeah.. I just want to be thankful and be happy with what I have:)) Weird as it sounds, saya tak nak( not to say that tp x de perkataan yg sesuai) dapat tajaan untuk dalam negara tu(perasan je la kan boleh dapat..haha:D) Saya dah penat tunggu and I don't want any interference bila dah masuk uitm nanti.. So just move on.:)) And ada la variety sikit dalam family asas saya.. My sister study oversea, saya study local so dua2 dah explore kan...? Bagus la macam tu:)

Skin and Bones

That's me!! I'm skinny; skin, bones and no flesh..haha... No. Skin and Bones is a title of a song by South Jordan(it's a new band I think). But I am skinny. Anyway, I've been heard their song in the radio at XFm. XFm only play songs from local band. So I heard another GREAT song from South Jordan that is Take Your Time at XFm and I was really proud of it because I thought it was a local band and they wrote a nice song. Bravo!!

When I first heard the song I didn't know that it was them so I went to searched for the lyric(Take Your Time) in hope that I got to know who they are. But I didn't know the song title either.. So tell me how am I ever going to find this band?Haha.. But I just googled anyway with a great help from my sister. Thank You.

So, as I thought it was a local band I searched for lirik lagu Melayu. Funny.. the song is in English then why the hell I searched for lirik lagu Melayu. I only knew the South something so I searched for local artist/band that have their name starts with S.Then...tadaa.. A list of artists..Very old I mean retro ones but there were also the new ones.. No South Jordan..Sigh
I'm not looking for S. Jibeng for God's sake...

I can't remember how finally we found the band but when I looked at the picture of the band, they were all mat saleh.. but one look like asian. What the..?? I thought XFm will only play song from local artist...Hmmm. So I can't except the fact..

" Orang putih la dik.."
" No.. they all maybe kacukan kot.."(how will u get all kacukans in a band?)
" Ya Allah.. Tak caya jugak"
"Takkan la XFm main lagu orang putih kot that is so against we-will-not-play-any-international-songs prinsip"

So we searched them at facebook and yeah they were all mat saleh except for one guy. Maybe XFm play their songs because the guitarist or something is Malaysian. So, Malaysia for Malaysian right?? Anyway the search ended and I became one of their fans..hehe. For those who like slow not slow.. kinda-love-sentimental songs.. Not that really.. I don't how to describe the genre but just try listen their songs. For me it's kinda nice. Happy listening!!:D
